Patch queue

Changes land by mail, not by pull request. This is the current queue and what became of the recent ones.

How to submit

Format the change as a mail and send it to the dev list:

git format-patch -1 --stat
git send-email --to dev@flintstack.dev 0001-*.patch

One logical change per patch, a subject line that would read well in git log, and a sign-off line. A patch that touches the store format needs a note saying so, because that is the one kind of change that cannot be quietly rolled back. We reply on-list within a few days, even if the reply is «not this way, and here is why».

«Needs rework» means the idea is fine and the patch is not there yet; the thread on the dev list has the specifics. «Rejected» means the behaviour would be wrong for the cache, not that the code was bad.
